At the End of All Things

And at the end of all things

There really will be a really big bang

The heavens will dissolve in fire

And then comes the beginning

New heavens new earth

A new creation

A re-creation

And God Himself

Will dwell with men

I cannot say if this will be again

Ex nihilo

I do not know

And yet

It seems to me

Less of a restitution

More a reconstitution

Of all things past

Of all things yet to be

In an eternal present

And there will be

At last

Under the iron hand

Within the velvet glove

Of MessiahAgain

Peace

Long in the coming

But well worth the waiting

And great

And gorgeous

Joy

And Man will dwell with God

In the eternal morning the eternal evening

At the end of all things
